Very interesting article, you hit the nail on the head. But, it’s funny I noticed the same thing with Netherspite when I ran kara recently with another guild. While we killed him first attempt, I distinctly remember asking if we were ever going to do Netherspite and I got the response, “We save him for last because he can be tricky.”

Yea, just that I realized that I don’t do many things of interest on most of my toons. Figure if I narrow my focus, I can find more things to write about. Rather than just waiting for things to happen.

Yea, 2nd attempt. They were one of the better kara guilds I’ve run with. I’ve run with plenty of guilds where standing in certain beams and not standing in black circles of imminent death confounds them.

Ya, I gotta admit that Badge gear definitely spoon feeds the lowest common denominator. Shade of Aran in blues… much different than Shade of Aran in T4, T5 and T6 handouts.

Did you ever end up killing Netherspite after all that song and dance?

Yea, my biggest concern was dealing with bloodboil. I thought it was going to be a lot worse than it really was. We’ll change our healing focus to the fel rage target and we should do a lot better

Bloodboil can be a pain in the ass – but I’ve always found it’s because of fel rage, not the bloodboil rotations. A squishy gets fel rage and all of a sudden our raid starts taking a nap on the floor.
