Meet the Toons

I play 4 different level 70 characters mainly.  I have a 70 hunter, but he’s my herbing bot, so we’ll leave him out for the purposes of this site.  Here’s a short little summary of the toons I mess around on:

Speidel:  Warlock.  My Main.  The 4th toon I created.  I reached level 60 about a month before the expansion and rode the enjoyment of the class into the expansion.  I’ve played every spec in the book many times over, but destruction is still my favorite.  Currently rolling as Felguard specced as we progress our way through Mount Hyjal and Black Temple.  I was destruction for quite some time, and made many of my guildies jealous of the damage I did.  I picked up the 2-piece set bonus and figured I’d give full demonology a try in raiding.  I still was tops on damage, or at least very near the top, and the added versatility of being able to farm and PvP made me really enjoy the spec.  The micro-management of dots and a pet is much more challenging, and consequently more entertaining, than the mindless shadowbolt spam of destruction.

Adelbert:  Prot Warrior.  The 3rd toon I created.  I played all of pre-BC as fury.  There was a lot of bias against warriors doing dps in raids at the time, so I rolled a female troll warrior to prove them all wrong.  Got some gear and eventually started nearing the top of damage charts.  Got bored of this and moved on to leveling my warlock.  I leveled as fury in the expansion, but it was incredibly hard to do any instancing/raiding with that spec.  So I figured I would give prot a try for once.  At first, I sucked at tanking.  But the challenge of it kept me going, and I eventually evolved into a pretty good tank (in my mind at least..)  I’ll see 25-man raids every once in a while as an offtank, but for the most part I’m stuck leading Kara and ZA raids.

Cetana:  Rogue.  The 5th toon I created.  I didn’t create/level this toon until after the expansion was well under way.  I turned my warrior into a tank, and so I needed a new melee dps character /shrug.  Along the way to 70, I began to notice how incredibly easy it was to gank and carve up unsuspecting alliance.  I was planning on this character to be mainly for PvP, but a few very lucky Kara runs right after I hit 70 left me with a very nice PvE set.  I specced combat to see what it was all about, and fell in love with the spec.  This character is basically my gold sinkhole.  I spoil her with the best items and enchants money can buy, and it’s paid off handsomely.  When Wrath of the Lich King hits, I plan on this toon becoming my main.

Quetzalcoetl:  Disc Priest.  The first toon I ever created.  I leveled to 60 as holy and raided pre-BC as holy.  Was one of the better geared priests on the server until the expansion hit, and then he hardly got played at all.  I had never been fond of PvP, but I realized that that was one of the few things I had yet to really excel at in this game, so I decided to try my luck at arenas as discipline specced.  I started season 3 with 0 arena points, and 10k honor.  And now as we near the end of season 3, I’m sitting at 4/5 vengeful, having gotten close to a 1900 rating at one point before losing interest in it.  It was a really fun, yet also incredibly trying stretch of PvP’ing.  I’m looking forward to seeing how well I can compete in season 4 now that I can start the season with a good set of gear.
